OPI Liquid Sand

Okay. 

Have any of y'all tried 

OPI's Liquid Sand yet? 

I just bought a bottle 

and tried it this week. 

I love it! 

It is much easier to apply 

than regular nail polish, 

and so far it seems to last a little longer. 

However, I have not tried to 

remove it yet. 

I am sure that is going to be a pain. 

The color I have is called 

Stay the Night 

and it is from the Mariah Carey Collection. 

Just today, 

I purchased 3 more colors.

a not so fun way to lose weight...

...a stomach virus. 

I am finally back with the 

land of the living. 

Last week I was down 

with this stupid stomach virus 

that is making the rounds in my office. 

But, hey, bright side...

I lost 6 pounds! 

Despite my sickness, 

I did have a really great weekend. 

Luckily, I was over the worst 

of it by Friday 

and most importantly 

no longer contagious. 

Saturday, I went to a friend's 40th birthday bash. 

It was supposed to be at the beach; 

but, of course, it was 

raining and 60°. 

So, the party was moved to the beach house. 

It was so much fun. 

We played volleyball and 

everyone else ate hamburgers & hotdogs 

for lunch. 

Then that night they had 

barbeque ribs 

and an entire dessert table. 

I really hated watching everyone else eat, 

but I did not want to get sick at the party. 

There was a slideshow and presents. 

And then they pulled out 

the karaoke machine. 

It was so much fun! 

Sunday afternoon 

a group of us went to see 

Iron Man 3! 

It was definitely my favorite of the 

three Iron Man movies. 

All-in-all, despite sickness, 

it was a fun weekend. 

I am just glad I finally feel human again!
