tell me i'm not the only one ...

I actually have a ton of events to blog about,
I just do not have time to sit down and write about them
plus add the necessary photos.
I will eventually get to it ... probably

I have been in blog land for around 5ish years.
I definitely read blogs long before I started my own.
And I love all of the people I've "met."

Social media has blown up in the past few years.
Almost all bloggers now have Facebook , Twitter, Instagram, & Pinterest accounts linked to their blog.
And they all encourage you to follow all of their different social media pages and interact with them.
I typically do follow their different pages, especially if it is a blogger I really like.
However, this is where my weirdness comes in.
I always feel weird commenting/replying to other bloggers social media pages.

For some reason, in the back of my mind, if I reply to a tweet or comment on Instagram,
I automatically think ... "that person is going to think I am a stalker."
Does anybody else feel this way?
I know it has to be crazy.
I mean, why would people encourage you to interact with them
and then think you are a creep when you do?

It is not rational or logical to think this way.
I am not always a sane person. ;)
Please tell me I am not alone in this.
Thanks for listening blog land.

BTW: all of my social media links are on the right.

  1. I only feel like a stalker if I find them, leave a comment about how I just found them on their blog, and then immediately follow them everywhere. I like to try to space out my following a little but otherwise I don't think it's weird to comment them. I love when anyone talks to me on twitter! I do feel weird when it's a blogger I barely know and I want to follow the IG or twitter they link to and it's private, though. Like, am I worthy to ask to follow?

  2. Haha me too sometimes! Especially if I follow all of their pages at the same time!
