This weekend I went to the rodeo!
Which is one of my favorite things to do.
On any given weekend in
the great state of Georgia
{heck, make that any state in the south}
you do not have to go far to find a rodeo.
This one was an IPRA event.
The evenings events were:
-bareback riding
-saddle bronc riding
-calf roping
-steer wrestling
-barrel racing
-team roping
-bull riding
I had a blast!
However, the wind was trying to blow us away.
By the end of the night I was COVERED in dirt.
It looked like I had rolled around in the ring with the horses;)
I did not get a lot of good pics because I only have a point & shoot.
I really need to invest in a better camera.
But here are some of my pics.

Oh gosh I think I would have to get on an airplane and fly somewhere to find the nearest rodeo! But this looks like so much fun!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun to me! I've been to a few dirt tracks (racing) and it only took one time for me to learn that having sunglasses at night is a must! And the dirt there is BLACK. But I tell ya, it feels kinda cool to be covered in it by the end of the night!
