Saturday I had about 1,512 assignments to work on. But I had a rare Saturday off from work, so the besties and I painted pottery. We have a great little place here in town where you can paint pottery and make wonderful glass creations. We are going back this weekend to do some glass work. It is a great way to relax and forget about school & work for a couple of hours. Here are a few pics of the works in progress. They have to glaze & fire them which takes about 7-10 days. I will post a picture of the finished pieces when we pick them up.
our messy table!
M* decided to paint a travel mug
A* painted a trinket box
and I painted a square fluted bowl
I think I may use it as a fruit bowl or something.
What are some fun ways you procrastinate?
I do most of my procrastinating by "wasting" time online, reading blogs, checking e-mails, messageboards, etc. It's awful, I can sit down for what I tell myself will be 10 minutes, and look at the time 2 hours later and still be sitting there!
ReplyDeleteI've never done that and always wanted to! My Mom did it as part of a team building exercise on a business trip and she made me a mug. I treasure it!
ReplyDeleteI love going to the pottery places! My friend and I went not too long ago and I did a snowman cookie jar..it took forever but turned out so cute!!
ReplyDeleteAs for what I do to procrastinate...defintely anything online. I spend WAY to much time on the computer!
I haven't been to one of those places in so long! Apparently it's the thing to do now :) Can't wait to see how they turn out! And I procrastinate by doing blogger! :) It's become my main hobby.
ReplyDeleteWe have a place just right down the street where you can make cute little things too! Isn't that the best!
