I am not a fan of group projects. I would much rather do all of the work on my own. Logic would tell you that you would have less work to do when working with a group. In my experience this is not the case. I have a major presentation next week that is going to take place over 2 class periods. This is a group project. We had a meeting with our prof today to show him our powerpoint for the presentation. Two of the members of my group did not have their portion of the powerpoint finished. I have never shown a professor an incomplete project. I am a procrastinator. I get it. But there comes a point when your work should be finished. Two of us had all of our information completed and we had the larger portions of the presentation. So, the professor did not say anything about it being incomplete. It just irritated me a little bit because we all get one grade.
On a much happier note:
I hated group projects too! I always volunteered to be the one who put the final project together so I could edit everyone else's parts and make sure everything flowed/looked good :P
ReplyDeleteI was always frustrated by those too! Happy Easter!
